Die Angst der Mutter vor dem Baby. Und warum ist die Mutter immer alles schuld?

Säuglinge wirken manchmal wie Monster: Sie suchen nach der Brust ohne Rücksicht auf die Mutter als Person. Wenn sie hungrig sind, kennen sie kein Erbarmen. Das kann bei dir als Mutter Angst hervorrufen. Du spürst, welch große Bedeutung du fürr das Baby hast, leidest aber vielleicht irgendwo auch unter der „Rücksichtslosigkeit“ deines Babys.

Du befriedigst meistens wie selbstverständlich die Bedürfnisse deines Babys. Du fütterst dein Baby, du hältst es, wiegst und wärmst es. Und du gestaltest den Raum deines Babys. Du wirst von deinem Baby weiterhin als etwas Umhüllendes erlebt. Du bist auf eine Art auch eine „Umwelt-Mutter“ (Environmental Mother, Begriff geprägt von Donald Winnicott).
